Open Bionics Expands to Nashville – Prosthetist Travis Leading the Way

We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Open Bionics clinic in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing advanced bionic technology, free demos, and personalized fittings to the Southeast. Leading the Open Bionics clinic is Travis, a prosthetist with decades of experience helping patients reach their goals through innovative prosthetic care.

Travis earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida before completing the Prosthetic program at Northwestern University in Chicago. He went on to complete his prosthetic residency at Gulf Coast O&P in Pensacola, FL, and has since built a career specializing in prosthetics and pediatrics. Over the years, he has worked with professional athletes, children, and adults of all ages – always focusing on building long-term relationships and empowering his patients to live actively and independently.

Speaking about his new role, Travis shared: “I’m really excited to be a part of what Open Bionics is doing here in the US. It feels truly revolutionary, and I’m proud to contribute to it.”

Outside of the clinic, Travis is an endurance sports enthusiast, competing in Ironmans, marathons, and gravel races. He also spends time supporting his son on the MotoAmerica motorcycle racing circuit. His passion for both performance and perseverance shines through in his patient care philosophy.
