Here you can try a bionic prosthetic arm for free, get support from our clinical team, meet the engineers behind the design, and meet the customer care team who will support you throughout your bionic journey. If you have time, you can also get a tour of production and see our 3D Print Farm where your arm will be printed and assembled!
We’re proud to say that the Hero Arm in our Bristol Clinic is available for the cheapest possible price anywhere in Europe.
Established in 2020, the Open Bionics Clinic has continued to evolve and improve with the integration of innovative technologies, such as 3D scanning and digital rectification platforms. These technologies allow for an alternative approach to traditional shape capture and fabrication methods routinely used by both NHS and private prosthetics services for upper extremity management.
Our in-house certified Prosthetist ensures that a patient-centred approach to clinical practice is implemented and the highest standards of healthcare are delivered to each of our patients.
Kameron graduated as a certified Prosthetist/Orthotist from the University of Strathclyde in 2019 and later completed an MSc in Prosthetics & Orthotics. With several years experience practicing in both NHS and private healthcare services in the United Kingdom, Kameron has also been involved in a number of innovative projects including the introduction of prescription guidelines for upper extremity rehabilitation and improved upper limb socket technologies for below-elbow absences.
Kameron is focussed on delivering a compassionate and patient-centred approach to prosthetic care in accordance with evidence-based practice. He enjoys building positive relationships with his patients to understand their individual prosthetic requirements and goals so that the best outcomes can be achieved.
My Open Bionics clinical experience has been really amazing. The first time I picked up a ball with my Hero Arm and I held it and dropped it, it felt like having a superpower. – Caroline Coster
