What is a pop-up clinic?

Rather than travelling to one of our permanent clinic sites, our specialist team travels to a city near you to run a focused, appointment-only session.

You’ll have dedicated one-to-one time with a prosthetist to trial our devices, assess your socket, and explore your options — with no pressure to commit on the day.

What to expect

Are these appointments free?
Yes. Your consultation and device trial at the pop-up clinic are free of charge. If you decide to move forward with a device, our team will walk you through all funding and cost options during the appointment.
How long is each appointment?
Appointments are typically one hour, giving you enough time to trial the technology, have a proper socket assessment, and ask all your questions. You won’t be rushed.
What devices will be available to trial?
Our clinical team will bring a range of our latest bionic devices, including the Hero PRO and Hero RGD, as well as our newest activity attachments. Your clinician will help identify which options are most appropriate for your limb presentation.
Can I bring a family member or carer?
Absolutely. We encourage you to bring someone along if it helps. Having a support person present during the consultation can be really useful, especially when thinking through next steps.
What if I can’t make the listed dates?
Get in touch with us directly and we’ll do our best to accommodate you at a future clinic, or connect you with your nearest permanent Open Bionics site. We don’t want timing to be a barrier.
